Thank you for visiting my website! As with everyone, I hold many titles. I'm a wife, a biological and foster-adoptive mom with five kids, a grandma (yay!), an empty nester, an advocate, a nurse, a friend and yes, a REAL ESTATE AGENT! However, no matter the situation, my clients are my top priority! I started my career in healthcare as a Hospice RN and served others in that precious time of life for many years. My husband and I were also licensed foster parents and had many children living in our home, two of which we adopted. My love of advocating for people has brought me into the world of real estate.
Through realty, I have gained a special love for first-time homebuyers and the aging population who are transitioning, but I absolutely enjoy helping clients in any stage of life! Dirk and I were high school sweethearts and have known each other for over 40 years. We have five children and two son-in-laws Madilyn & Fields, Samantha, Mallory & Steven, Benjamin and Mason. They are scattered around but we enjoy the family times together, especially as the grandchildren start coming!
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, church activities, gardening, being near water and in the sun, and working on our rental properties. As a previous hospice nurse, I also continue to be an advocate for patient quality of life at the end of life.
Anchors have always been a favorite of mine as they represent being anchored in my faith, for my son who served in the U.S. Navy, and my love of being near water.
